About Cheree Ashley

A certified interventionist who has spent her career helping families do the hardest thing they will ever do — with compassion, structure, and a plan.

Meet Cheree

Why I Do This Work

what brought Cheree to intervention work (personal family experience, clinical background, years in treatment admissions, etc.), and the moment she realized families needed someone in the room with them. Example: “I came to this work the way most interventionists do — through my own family. I know what it feels like to watch someone you love disappear into addiction, and I know how helpless the waiting feels.

Over [X] years, Cheree has led interventions for families facing alcohol and drug addiction, eating disorders, and untreated mental illness. She has worked alongside treatment centers, clinicians, and families across [service area], and she has seen what works: preparation, honesty, and a family that refuses to give up. Every intervention she leads is built on those three things.

Our Approach

Compassion First. Structure Always.

An intervention should never feel like an ambush. Cheree’s approach is rooted in respect for the person struggling and for the family carrying the weight. Before anyone sits down together, she works with the family to understand the history, choose the right intervention model, secure a treatment placement, and rehearse what each person will say. By the time the conversation happens, the emotion is still real, but the chaos is gone. That is what makes it work.

Assess
Every family starts with a confidential consultation. Cheree listens, asks the hard questions, and gives an honest recommendation on whether an intervention is the right step.
Prepare
Family members are coached on what to say, how to hold boundaries, and how to respond to resistance. A treatment bed and travel plan are arranged in advance.
Support
Cheree leads the intervention and stays involved through admission and beyond — coordinating with the treatment team and coaching the family through recovery.
